Then I have a role for youRobertson Bell have partnered with a Birmingham based organisation who aims to create a safer experience by working together to prevent crime, who is looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Weekly processing of payroll for an excess of 2000 employees
- Calculating of statutory deductions and various leave options
- Managing payroll queries from employees and relevant departments
- Processing new starters and leavers onto the payroll system
- Keeping up to date with relevant policy and legislation guidelines
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team, that offers ongoing training and a hybrid model, requiring you at least two days a week at the office.
- Good administration skills and a high level of accuracy on calculations
- Experience of using a workflow management system
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to use discretion as you will be handling sensitive information
- Experience or knowledge of processing payroll (please note this is desirable)
