Robertson Bell have partnered with a Birmingham based organisation who aims to create a safer experience by working together to prevent crime, who is looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis


Key duties and responsibilities:


  • Weekly processing of payroll for an excess of 2000 employees
  • Calculating of statutory deductions and various leave options
  • Managing payroll queries from employees and relevant departments
  • Processing new starters and leavers onto the payroll system
  • Keeping up to date with relevant policy and legislation guidelines


This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team, that offers ongoing training and a hybrid model, requiring you at least two days a week at the office.


  • Good administration skills and a high level of accuracy on calculations
  • Experience of using a workflow management system
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use discretion as you will be handling sensitive information
  • Experience or knowledge of processing payroll (please note this is desirable)
