Description
We're hiring for an Electronics Operative with experience of soldering to join a well-established electronics manufacturer based in Malton. The company design and manufacture electrical and electronic products providing expert solutions and the highest levels of product knowledge.
This Electronics Operative role includes helping to assemble many different products so you'll need to be competent at soldering and working from written instructions / diagrams.
£ £14.00 per hour
Mon to Fri shifts
Overtime available to extend days or come in over the weekend
What will you be doing as an Electronics Operative?
Placing electronic components onto PCBs (printed circuit boards) and then to either hand solder them into place, or to use an automated selective solder machine
Carrying out inspections and quality of products to ensure they meet the required standards
Ensuring all products meet both the requirements of current build lines and comply to the company wide quality standards
Carrying out basic mechanical tasks using small tools and other general assembly tasks
Conducting any general assembly tasks including the use of hand tools, fixtures and fitting
What skills do you need as an Electronics Operative?
Electrical / PCB assembly experience
Soldering skills
Understanding of components idents and markings are essential
Reliability and a flexible working attitude
Good attention to detail
