    Position Title: Apprentice: Process Technician x 2

    The Role

    The Technical team are looking to recruit 2 Apprentice Process Technicians , in their Rotherham facility.

    As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop the skills and experience needed to become a successful Technician, with the potential to develop further with the company, whilst working towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship: Science Industry Manufacturing Technician qualification.

    The apprenticeship will take between up to 36 months to complete. Within this, it will include 10 x 5 day block placements at Wolverhampton City College over a 15 to 16 month period. (Travel and accommodation costs for these blocks will be met by the Company).

    Location: Rotherham

    Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8:00 – 4:30pm

    What you will bring to the role:

    • Ability to work well as part of a team
    • Ability to travel to Wolverhampton college for block placements (cost of travel and accommodation will be covered by the Company

    Your Responsibilities: (will include, but are not limited to)

    • Programming 5 and 6 axis CNC robots
    • Completing new product trials
    • Completing job changes from initial set up through to first off quality approval, to include embossing plate changes, product colour changes, tool changes.
    • Identifying areas for improvement and carrying out Continuous Improvement activities
    • Assisting with quality assurance processes on site to ensure our products are manufactured to the highest standards
