Description
We are currently looking for a Hire Desk Administrator to work in our Head Office in Bonnybridge. This is a 'hands on' role. You must be confident, organised and able to work in high pressure situations.


Duties:


  • Checking availability of units and ensuring that statuses are always up to date on the systems.
  • Processing purchase orders and quotes for hire equipment.
  • Entering new hire contracts into the ordering system, then maintaining the hire through to off hire and completion, while communicating with customers throughout the process.
  • Communicating effectively with other colleagues and providing a helpful and friendly point of contact for depot enquiries.
  • Dealing with customers professionally and politely, while maximising sales.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and satisfactorily.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards within the hire office.

Experience & Skills Essential:


  • Previous experience of working in a customer focused role
  • Good telephone manner
  • Help build good customer relationships
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach
  • Sound computer skills, hire systems desirable
  • Have the ability to make competent commercial decisions within a fastmoving environment.

Desirable:


  • Scheduling experience.
  • Experience in hire industry.
