    Job Description

    Company profile

From our base in Kingston, we provide event technology and print services for events globally.

We believe that the humble name badge is the catalyst for people connecting, often resulting in life changing relationships. It enables attendees to identify each other, work out common ground, establish connections and build relationships that can potentially transform lives and organisations. This is the reason why live events exist.

Using QR codes or contactless technology the name badge can also be a data collector - a means of keeping track of what thousands of attendees are interested in. And the quality of the name badge, combined with the way in which it's delivered, are central to the attendee's first impression of the event.

We support all kinds of events. We're particularly proud to have been the main provider for the King's Coronation and COP26. We've also worked on a huge variety of events including many major car launches for automotive brands, the launch of a new floating city on the Red Sea, and a conference for healthcare professionals in San Francisco.

We're called on to provide systems and data expertise. We do this for many of the world's best-known brands on some fantastic live events.

    The role

To support continued expansion we're looking for a new addition to our Tech Team. The role of Onsite Tech Support Specialist allows you to hone a broad set of skills; setting up and supporting hardware, configuring software, data handling and customer skills.

You will receive hands-on, one-to-one training in setting up, configuring and delivering our technical solutions at live events. After developing the necessary skills you will be tasked with delivering these services at our customers' events worldwide, as part of our Onsite Tech Team.

The job offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the fast-paced live events industry, delivering a consistently high level of service while working on new innovations.

There are numerous opportunities to travel, as we support events worldwide for some of the world's best known brands. You will get an insider perspective of working with a diverse range of industries.

You'll also have the opportunity to help develop our technology and then see first-hand the positive impact of those developments at future events.

We love our industry. The buzz of pulling off a challenging event and seeing it unfold makes every day different and interesting.

It's also hard work and deadline-driven, so to be successful in this role you will need to be organised, diligent and keep a positive mindset.

We're looking for a candidate who feels they share these values. In return they'll get a unique opportunity to work all over the world, and hone their customer-facing skills in tandem with their technical skills.
