Description

Organisational and development Work with the Library & eLearning Services Manager to plan, organise, promote and deliver high quality and effective library and elearning services.

Contribute towards ensuring the specifications and standards applied to the library service from external bodies are met. Develop and deliver the Assistant Librarian and Knowledge Specialist role, liaising with the Library and eLearning Services Manager. Contribute to local, regional and national collaborative work.

Staff Management Deputise in the absence of the Library and eLearning Services Manager, as required Assist with the supervision of junior staff and delegating appropriate tasks User education Design, evaluate and deliver tailored effective information and search skills training for individuals or groups in person or remotely.

Develop, co-ordinate, deliver and/or promote critical appraisal skills Support and facilitate evidence-based discussion groups/journal clubs, when required. eLearning Create eLearning content using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, including advanced interactive learning tools, graphics and media Ensure new content is rigorously alpha
