Joining as a Multi-Site Relief Care Worker is a fantastic career choice that allows you to do just that We are currently looking for Relief Care workers who are active, kind and respectful to join our multi-site relief staffing team.
You will work across the Adult Social Care in-house services within GCC, to supplement existing care teams when required, to ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of the service .
Whilst you are under no obligation to accept shifts, we do ask that you are committed to supporting our permanent teams by working shifts where possible.
Relief Care Workers are crucial members of the team that ensure consistent care across the in-house services during busy periods, when permanent staff are unwell or on leave and they do make the world of difference - seeing a friendly and familiar face is so important to the people we support when permanent team members aren\'t available.
You will be experienced in supporting or working with vulnerable people, ideally adults in a care setting.You will have a Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care or be willing to undertake it.
You will also be willing to undertake the Care Certificate learning as part of the induction programme for the role.
