implementation - in the areas of unit load conveying, sorting technology, automated storage and retrieval systems, including controls, warehouse management systems and IT integration.

Managing the Controls Department by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.

• Achieves electrical engineering operational objectives by contributing electrical engineering information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; Develops strategic electrical plans by studying operational plans; Plans electrical projects by determining specifications; selecting contractors; establishing installation schedules; planning shut downs and installations; integrating requirements with architectural and mechanical designs; Maintains electrical systems by establishing and enforcing preventive and ongoing maintenance, and testing programs; coordinating shutdowns and installations.

• Ensure completion of electrical projects by supervising installation and resolving design issues.
• Manage staff performance to ensure the running of an effective and efficient Controls Department.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with codes and legal regulations.
