The Supported Housing Commissioning Team commission services for Lambeth people including homeless young people, young parents, looked after children, care leavers, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, vulnerable adults, and individuals who are rough sleeping.

This post will focus on the commissioning of services for homeless young people, 16/ 17 year old children looked after and care leavers.

It is an exciting time to join the team, with work underway to completely transform housing-related support for young people in Lambeth.

The transformation programme includes setting-up a radically different and innovative new joint Children's Social Care and Housing pathway for all young people who require housing-related support.

The postholder will be critical to the success of this transformation programme, working with the rest of the commissioning team to deliver several workstreams within agreed timescales.

The postholder will support all phases of the commissioning cycle, creatively drawing on a wide range of resources and assets across the partnership, organisation, and community to ensure that the council's strategic, specialist housing-related support requirements are delivered.
