  • Greenpeace is an international nonprofit global campaigning organisation. Our independence and global reach enable us to stand for positive change through action in order to defend nature and promote peace. We investigate and expose global environmental problems, confront those in positions of power and present alternative solutions._

Support for Greenpeace UK is growing fast, thanks to the rising popularity of our mission and our ambitious fundraising strategy - to double support within 5 years.

Our growth and our ambition mean that we are increasing the size of our fast-paced and innovative Fundraising Teams.

We are looking for people who want to bring their experience and energy to help us do even more to tackle the planet's biggest environmental issues.

To maintain our independence and enable us to campaign without fear of compromise we never accept corporate or government donations, and instead rely wholly on donations from our individual supporters.

The Fundraising Training Officer will be the first representative of Greenpeace for our in-house and agency fundraisers, and will be seen as an ambassador for the organisation when conducting trainings and agency visits.

They will be expected to produce written documentation and create and deliver presentations to a high standard, engaging and inspiring our fundraising teams.

They will maintain in-depth and up to date knowledge of Greenpeace's work and be responsible for ensuring face to face and telephone fundraisers have the information they need to communicate our work in an accurate, timely and influential manner.

The post holder will be required to make regular site visits to our face to face fundraisers in the field, fundraising alongside them providing clear, constructive feedback on their performance and development to both the fundraisers and management.

They will need to maintain a strong working knowledge of IOF regulations and Greenpeace and agency partner policies in order to monitor the quality and compliance of our face to face and telephone fundraising operations and provide clear feedback to the rest of the supporter recruitment leadership team.

This is an exciting time to join the Greenpeace and be part of a growing team which is breaking new boundaries in private sites fundraising, embracing new innovations and technology (including Virtual Reality) and developing an internal culture that recognises the benefit of fundraising face-to-face across the organisation.

  • Location: Islington, London. Our hybrid working model enables us to enjoy the benefits of both office based and remote working. We ask that staff work from the office in Islington 40% of their time, with 20% required as a minimum. Reasonable adjustments as well as specific office based needs will be considered for those with long term health conditions and disabilities._
