    An opportunity has arisen for the position of Operational Support Assistant Team Leader within Home Care Services Operational Support Team.

    Reporting directly to the Operational Support Team Leader/ Assistant Operational Support Team Leader, your main duties and responsibilities will include the day to day supervision of the Operational Support Team, which is a customer focused call handling service, dealing and assisting with a variety of telephone enquiries in relation to Customer Service, Home Care, Hospital Discharge and Help at Home Services.

    The successful applicant will be required to organise and prioritise workloads to meet specific deadlines, as well as carrying out a range of administrative services to support a team of Operational Support Assistants.

    The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers, including Home Care Co-ordinators, Area Service Teams, Hospital Discharge staff and individual service users and their families.

    A good understanding of IT systems and an appropriate SVQ level 3 in Business Administration and/or equivalent professional qualification would be advantageous.

    Due to the nature of this role and function, there is a requirement for the post holder to work Public Holidays.
