Job Role:
Gateline Assistant

Location:
Norwich Station (NR1 1EF)

Pay rate:
£11.80 per hour

Hours and Days:
Vary between Monday - Sunday.

What does a Gateline Assistant do?

Ensuring the logbook is updated and used correctly
Checking tickets
Carrying out fingertip maintenance of the gates
Ensuring the gates are in operation 100% of the time whilst you are on shift.
All licenses must be on your person at all times and shown upon request
To report persistent fare evasion to Eyewitness
Being vigilant and visible to all customers and other members of staff
Managing difficult situations
Provide outstanding customer service: travel information, passenger assistance for purchasing tickets and updating information as and when required
Making announcements on the handheld radio (if required)
Carry out emergency procedures as locally specified on your induction
