Duties

  • To conduct all company business in a professional manner, liaising with clients to achieve the full acquisition of sites and ensure legal compliance
  • To be responsible for Assistant Land Surveyors where applicable
  • To ensure that all surveying kit and vehicle is maintained and well kept
  • To process documents and provide an update on site survey activities on a daily basis
  • To comply with Health & Safety standards set by the company
  • To comply with Company ISO Standards and Procedures
  • To be responsible for carrying out predominantly Topographic, Hydrographic, Rail and Utilities Surveys but also learning and assisting on HDS surveys, building surveys, and settingout etc., and to prepare the required survey drawings using LSS, AutoCAD, Trimble Business Centre, and Register 360
  • Operating Total Stations, Radio Detection Equipment and Ground Penetrating Radar, Laser Scanners
  • Confirm and accept transfer of project material generated during the bid stage, including contract requirements, technical specifications, and commercial terms needed for proper execution of projects
  • Oversee project execution and be responsible for identification, documentation, and action on contractual variations as they arise; i.e. ensure your line manager is made aware of any changes requested by the client made directly to you
  • Liaise with clients on Company execution of projects as required
  • Identify and mitigate potential technical, commercial, QHSE risks for assigned projects
  • Administer and manage specific project tasks
  • Conduct site and client visits as required
  • Promote Company services during daytoday contact with existing and potential clients

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Geospatial/Industrial Measurement industry required
  • Must be teamoriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision
  • Ability to work both independently and within teams
  • Holding a valid drivers licence is essential for this role
  • Must hold a valid passport free from status or restrictive conditions that preclude travel to and work in countries where the company routinely operates
