    Job Description

    Are you a proactive Application Support Analyst to join our team? In this role, you will be crucial in supporting enterprise-wide systems, particularly focusing on commodity front-office trading applications during trading hours. Reporting to the Head of Application Support – Front Office, you will be responsible for analyzing issues, providing solutions, and delivering tangible business value to our clients.

    Our client is in the global commodity markets, specializing in physical and financial trading across various asset classes. Their agile delivery model, in partnership with strategic co-development centers, ensures the seamless delivery of multi-asset-class commodity systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide support for commodity front-office trading applications during trading hours.

    Assist in the onboarding/offboarding process for client trading business.

    Support weekly production change releases.

    Ensure the smooth operation of CTRM and connected upstream/downstream applications for intraday and end-of-day activities.

    Take necessary actions to ensure time-critical batch steps run smoothly, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

    Monitor application availability and proactively report any issues.

    Communicate with clients/vendors as required, keeping them informed of incident progress and upcoming changes.

    Manage and prioritize tickets in the ticketing system.

    Collaborate with the Service Desk to ensure timely resolution of requests.

    Escalate service requests that require 3rd-level support.

    Continuously strive to improve client service, perception, and satisfaction.

    Technical Expertise:

    Relevant work experience in the IT industry

    Experience with CTRM application support and familiarity with databases and SQL scripts.

    Ability to deploy, configure, and test applications.

    Familiarity with ENDUR programming using JVS is advantageous.

    Understanding of change request/release management processes.

    Non-Technical Skills:

    Fluent in English.

    Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.

    Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple requests/projects independently.

    Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

    Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Adaptability to changes and ability to work with geographically distributed teams.

    Willingness to work flexible shift patterns, including occasional weekends.
