    Site Engineer – Landscaping

    Fixed Term Contract until end of March 2025

    We have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our Earthworks/Landscaping team. Reporting into our Earthworks/Landscape Package manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of our earthworks, drainage, fencing and landscaping package.

    About our role

    • Managing surveying data such as as-builts, etc.
    • Ensure all setting-out and quality control procedures are performed in a timely and efficient manner, so as not to impede the construction programme.
    • Liaise with foreman/works manager/subcontractor to ensure any clashes on site are managed to ensure continuity of work
    • Regularly review procedures to ensure efficiency is maintained or bettered
    • Liaise with quality/site engineer to ensure ITP criteria are fully adhered to and assist in completion of quality documentation through site records
    • Maintain thorough site diary
    • fulfilling Health & Safety responsibilities by adhering to the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Management Plans
    • Ensuring that all plant, transport and materials used on the site are of sufficient quality and quantity to complete the task in question
    • Working with the appointed quantity surveyors to accurately measure and value the works carried out
    • Ensuring that the site is maintained to the high standard expected by the management of the company
    • Cross-referencing section programme to three weekly programme and ensuring compatibility
    • Assist in preparation of earthworks/landscaping sequencing and detailing
    • Anticipate and innovate solutions to construction issues

    About you - Skills & Experience

    You'll have demonstrable experience as a Site Engineer, coupled with experience of both of earthworks and drainage design. You'll hold a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.

    You'll also have effective communication (both written and verbal), strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
