    A Global Organisation with over 50,000+ employees and one of the most forward thinking cutting edge tech stacks in the world is looking for a Lead Engineer, who understands DevOps principles, to join a new growing division.

    We need someone who can combine excellent hands on capability with experienced Leadership and Stakeholder management skills.

    You will have a background within Systems Engineering, ideally with a Linux Focus and have risen through the ranks as a Linux Engineer, into a Senior capacity and now either Leading a team, or having the ambition of moving into a Lead type position.

    You'll be working with a very strong core Engineering function and side by side with a 3rd party consultancy to continually push boundaries in the evolution of the companies technical platform.

    You'll set technical vision, you'll evolve technology strategy and you'll also be involved in the overall delivery of the strategy.

    They want a unique mix of someone who can both strategise and execute.
    As well as Linux Engineering fundamentals, you will also have a deep understanding of modern DevOps principles. A deep understanding of Configuration Management, Continuous Delivery/Integration and Cloud Technologies.
