    Description


    We are seeking a Payments Product Owner to join the engineering team of a prominent financial institution based in London.

    This will be an initial 6 Month FTC with the high potential of extension.
    This is centred around international B2B cross border payments. So a strong background in this space is essential.

    As the Payments Product Owner, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the payments functionality, platform, and operational capabilities are all aligned and positioned as industry-leading.

    Leveraging your deep understanding of the business and engineering capabilities, you will take ownership of the product roadmap for one or more payment features.

    Working collaboratively with other product owners, developers, analysts, solution/enterprise architects, and QA engineers, you will play a crucial role in planning and scoping system changes, serving as the main point of contact for business requirements.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and address requests.
    Refine and maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
    Create user stories based on requirements.
    Collaborate with stakeholders from various business units and third-party companies to define and document business processes and software requirements.
    Maintain a comprehensive documentation of ongoing projects.

    Support business users and management in optimising the scope, benefits, and risks of proposed projectsPrioritise and address issues raised during development and production.


    Qualifications:
    Collaborate closely with the IT Program Manager, engineering team, and stakeholders.
    Uphold business standards for business analysis.
    Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders.
    SkillsStrong industry knowledge in the cross-border payments domain.
    Previous experience in a financial services organisation.
    Familiarity with IT systems.
    Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies.
