    Purpose of role

    London & Partners supports the growth journey of over 1000 businesses each year.

    The 'Programme Manager, Communities & Networks' delivers some of our most important community events supporting start-ups and scale-ups, our peer-to-peer networks and sector community events (including the FinTech Club, CleanTech Club, Overlooked and Female Founders groups).

    The position holder will also assist project managing our annual summit and build strong relationships with high-profile speakers in the tech ecosystem.

    Key Tasks

    Annual Summit & Networks

    • Support the curation and delivery of the annual summit each November.
    • Build meaningful relationships with Partners and key stakeholders both internally and externally.
    • Work in collaboration with the wider Marketing directorate, contributing to the implement of marketing and communications strategy ensuring effective execution to achieve consistent, high-quality messaging and increased brand recognition. This may include, but not be limited to: cross-channel marketing campaigns; digital; social media; thought leadership content creation; PR opportunities.
    • Contribution to the creation of processes to monitor and evaluate the different elements of the programme and develop reporting tools to continue to build and improve on delivery.

    Events and Communities

    • Work with the Senior Community Manager to feed into our strategy for community events including investors, peer-to-peer networks and sector community events (as well as our Unrepresented and Female Founders groups).
    • Deliver a programme of community events, leading on content creation, curation, and delivery and ensure all events are of a very high quality and well attended. Where appropriate host or facilitate these events.
    • Work closely with the L&P sector leads (including Creative, Enterprise, Fintech, Life Sciences and Sustainability) to include high-quality speakers and develop content relevant to our communities and sector growth trends.
    • Manage engagement with our alumni communities and ensure they are aware of relevant L&P opportunities.
    • Ensure feedback (NPS) is monitored to continuously improve event satisfaction.
    • Support the partnerships team to identify potential commercial partnership conversations in relation to wider L&P programmes.
    • Perform data analysis and create data driven insights on programme content, Partners and community to inform critical decision making and programme content planning.

    • Strong interpersonal skills to manage a range of stakeholders and demonstrable experience of relationship building and networks.
    • Experience in curating and delivering regular high-profile events.
    • Experience in public speaking, including presenting and moderating.
    • A track record of collaborating with others to deliver results.
    • Able to develop innovative ideas and solutions to plans, challenges and objectives through creative and strategic thinking.
    • ·Able to demonstrate resilience and adapts positively within the context of ambiguous and fast changing priorities and cultural agendas.

    • Ability to effectively develop and implement work plans and ensure all tasks are delivered to the required standards.
    • Ability to achieve deadlines and targets, monitor performance of the matrix team and take corrective action where necessary.
    • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of senior stakeholder representatives, partners and customers.
    • Attention to detail with high professional standards.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce, Eventbrite, Zoom, Slack and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
    • Knowledge of the London scale up ecosystem and technology sectors is an advantage.
