Description

We are working with a leading firm who are looking for a semi senior accountant

AAT qualified looking to move onto ACA/ACCA

You will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a UK practice and be competent in producing accounts for varying entities, corporation tax and personal tax returns

The role will be varied, and you will have first hand experience, a minimum of three years in public practice in an all round accounts role

You will be responsible for the following:
To undertake full completion of a small / medium sized jobs, including preparation of Ltd Co accounts as well as sole trader/partnerships/ITRs/VAT returns

To prepare an intelligent schedule for partners

To be able to complete jobs within an agreed time frame.

Calculate corporation tax and personal tax liabilities and advise on tax planning

Review the work from, support and mentor junior colleagues, ensuring that company standards are maintained.
