    As a PLC Engineer , you will join the Leicester team to support our activities within the Electronics sector.

    Develop and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs using Siemens TIA Portal.
    Design and program PLC systems using Ladder Logic programming language.
    Utilise AutoCAD, Fusion 360, and Solidworks for designing and modelling electrical and mechanical components.
    Use Simulink and MATLAB for simulation and analysis purposes.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems into electronic devices and equipment.
    Troubleshoot and debug PLC systems to ensure efficient operation.
    Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in PLC programming and related technologies.
    Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
    Experienced and dynamic PLC Engineers with a passion for innovation and excellence in the electronics sector.

    The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PLC programming, HMI design, and proficiency in utilizing CAD and simulation tools.

    Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

    A proactive problem-solver with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field. (Master's degree in a relevant fieldis a plus)
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLC programming and engineering.
    Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal for PLC programming.
    Strong understanding of Ladder Logic programming language.
    Proficiency in AutoCAD, Fusion 360, and Solidworks for designing and modeling.
    Familiarity with Simulink and MATLAB for simulation and analysis purposes.
