    Security Architect – UK leading Retailer

    Company Overview:

    Insite IT are supporting a UK leading Retailer who are building out their Security Architecture capability.

    Our partner is one of the UK's most reputable Retailers who are investing in the growth of their Security Architecture practice, with a focus on bringing in top-tier talent to support their drive across their Technology transformation.

    This organisation is at an early stage of their practice development, and this is an opportunity to support the organisation to grow their Security Architecture practice through driving new Security initiatives across the entire business.

    Position Overview:

    As a Security Architect, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing security strategies while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a dedicated team, driving forward the organization's security objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute security architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Be at the forefront of instilling a DevSecOps culture into the development process.
    • Mentor and guide cross-functional teams on security best practices and methodologies.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security requirements are integrated throughout operations.
    • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to mitigate risks.
    • Stay informed about emerging security threats and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
    • Proven experience as a Security Architect within a faced past environment.
    • Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience mentoring and coaching Architects.
    • Experience working with Technical teams to embed a DevSecOps Culture.
    • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are advantageous.
