Distribution Group based in Worthing, West Sussex, has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to undertake responsibility for the sales forecasting and reporting processes.


What will the role involve?
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the main responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst will include:

  • Support the annual planning process including preparation of sales and costs plans, timetable management, presentation reviews, feedback, analyses and reports through professional financial input;
  • Conduct value add, proactive financial analysis and continually improve reports to help the commercial teams obtain optimal performance;
  • Support the Commercial teams by business partnering to identify and analyse new opportunities providing quality financial decision making information for business cases;
  • Assist in the target setting process for commercial teams and ensure accurate reporting against targets;
  • Develop financial models for investment appraisal, providing reasoned recommendations to senior management including sensitivity analysis and scenario planning;
  • Partner with the product business unit to develop reporting to support the Annual Plan objectives;
  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
  • Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with a demonstrable track record of financial forecasting and information analysis;
  • Excellent communication skills will be essential to undertake the Senior Financial Analyst role successfully as it will entail extensive Business Partnering with key non finance stakeholders throughout the organisation.

Additional information:


  • The role will be offered on a predominantly remote working basis with the successful applicant only expected to attend the Worthing office two days a week.
