£27,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

My client is looking for a Production Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in the Wiltshire area.

They are looking for someone with a good understanding of production processes and who is keen to progress their skills.

The Production Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Ideally have an Engineering degree, or a similar qualification such as HND / HNC / NVQ or previous manufacturing experience
Excellent problemsolving skills
Be hands on and enthusiastic; be able to work well independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills; both verbal and written
Good understanding of Production Processes

The Production Engineer role will involve:

Monitoring to ensure first off verification check & CMM's are carried out and following necessary processes when checks aren't complete or require correction
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Working with the Quality team to ensure Audits are conducted
Ensuring any tooling, machine breakdowns or quality issues are resolved and escalated
Supporting HR and H&S to make sure all production employees receive mandatory/ relevant training where appropriate to assist with employee development
Adhering to policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety
Assisting with the improvement of processes and procedures
