We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled MDT Coordinator within Cancer Services who is seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge within the Cancer department.

The role will be based at Watford General Hospital The hours are 37.5 a week.

There has never been a more exciting time to join West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust Major redevelopment works are due for completion by 2025 or soon after.

These will be most dramatic at Watford General Hospital where up to 90% of buildings will be new.

You will be responsible for tracking all cancer referrals from referral through to treatment, monitoring wait times and making recommendations to clinical teams to ensure compliance with national Cancer Waiting Time targets, Peer Review and National Clinical Audits.

You will attend twice weekly Cancer PTL/ Escalation meetings with the Cancer Management team.

This is inclusive of close working relationships with our tertiary centers to enable smooth pathway transitions for shared care patients.


This post involves working closely with staff in various departments, so you will need a flexible professional approach, excellent organisational and time management skills together with an excellent standard of verbal and written communication.

Previous line management is essential as this role will involve immediate management of 1-2 staff members
