Description

The City & Capital Group are delighted to be the exclusive search partner of a private equity backed, fintech, commercial finance provider who have engaged our services in order to appoint a professional and ambitious Debt Recovery Paralegal to their team.

The ideal individual will take responsibility for the monitoring and recovery of customer loans.

Our client offers a Merchant Cash Advance facility, also known as a Business Cash Advance, which is an unsecured business finance solution that allows business owners to quickly raise up to £300,000 in funding.

They are extremely well funded via two, wellknown private equity houses and are growing both the team and client base rapidly.

The role will be focused on determining the case direction and strategy for any accounts in arrears.

This will include liaising with problematic clients, assessing and investigating cases, working with solicitors, courts, insolvency practitioners and debtcollectors, raising money claims and preparing statutory demand letters.

The role reports to the Head of Collections and forms part of a small but growing team of 4.

This is a newly created role in the business and as such, there will be significant opportunitiesto progress your career as the business continues to grow.

This work is currently outsourced to an external law firm and given recent growth of the client book, it now makes financial sense to bring this element of the legal work back in house.

You would stillliaise with the external solicitors for higher value cases (>£10k) to ensure that the process runs smoothly.

The salary on offer is between £35k - £50k for the ideal individual plus access to the company benefits scheme.

Full study support will be provided and higher offers may be considered for exceptional individuals if and where relevant.

You will ideally be based from the London office 2-3 days a week, although fully remote working will be considered for individuals living outside of commutable distance.
