- Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic geography lessons to students
- Create a positive learning environment that supports student engagement and fosters a love for geography
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support for individual learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Support the school's extra-curricular activities and contribute to the wider school community
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in geography education and implement best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching geography at the primary or secondary level
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
