    Clinisupplies is a leading UK-based manufacturer and supplier of medical appliances specialising in continence products for managing acute and chronic condition. The company also offers a portfolio of bandages and garments for the treatment of wounds and chronic skin conditions. Employing over 500 people in the UK, China and India, Clinisupplies supplies its products to the NHS and delivers direct to patients' homes through Clinidirect, its dispensing appliance contractor.

    Clinisupplies is focused on developing products which are simple and discreet to use. Its product development team works with clinicians and patients to develop a strong product pipeline to be manufactured at its CE, ISO, US FDA approved facilities.

    Role summary

    The role will consist of managing a team of Key Account Mangers working within the Urology/Bowel/Continence markets. Through inspirational leadership you will create an environment where both healthy competition, success and teamwork flourish.

As a Regional Manager you will be responsible for the sales activities within your region and will ultimately coordinate your team in line with our national strategy. Coaching and mentorship will be at the heart of the role whilst consistently encouraging and developing your team's approach through effective business planning and strong business acumen. You will work within the Sales Management Team and report directly into the Chief Sales Officer.

    The Regional Account Manager role is a field based role, covering the North of the UK. Working away from home when requested will be expected along with occasional overnight stays in order to facilitate the growth and development of both your team and the business.

    Key Responsibilities

    Your Team

    • Develop your team to be the best they can. This is a key focus area and includes field visits 3 days a week to provide 1:1 coaching and development to each team member, ensuring they have the tools, training and motivation they need to achieve and exceed their targets
    • Deliver and exceed agreed sales targets for the Clinisupplies portfolio for your region
    • Visibly and decisively run and manage the day to day needs of your team and act effectively where required to ensure the best outcomes for both the team and the company
    • Ensure all team members complete reports, CRM, expenses as per schedules and expectations
    • Progressively grow and develop your team through regular, open and honest performance reviews. Such reviews to take place in line with the quarterly review periods and to consist of two-way conversations about performance, career aspirations and development opportunities, all documented in our HR platform

    Your Customers

    • Nurture high level customer and KOL relationships and maintain a visible presence amongst key influential stakeholders within your region
    • Identify emerging key stakeholders that are influential in driving policy, local guidelines and formulary adherence and integrate them into the regional business plan for the best outcomes

    Your Region

    • Develop and deliver an effective and detailed operational business plan in line with the company commercial objectives in order to grow and exceed sales targets
    • Deliver on a regional sales & operational budget
    • Fully understand and interpret the monthly, quarterly and annual sales data and support high level sales analysis to be able to drive business growth and achieve our sales strategy
    • Work closely with the Commercial Manager to identify new opportunities and achieve the region's growth targets
    • Support effective implementation of tailored value propositions for healthcare professionals and procurement that mutually benefits customers, patients and Clinisupplies as a whole

    Sales Leadership

    • Demonstrate excellent cross functional working with other functions of the business by fostering key relationships and collaborating on business-wide initiatives
    • Visible, accountable and decisive leadership is core to the role
    • As a key part of the sales leadership team you will be required to work closely with the marketing team to help develop confident and structured campaigns throughout the year

    Knowledge/Skills:

    • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of both Secondary and Primary Care within the NHS, and the changing face of the NHS
    • Excellent sales coaching skills in order to analyse the current performance of your team and act where necessary to improve salesforce effectiveness
    • Strong managements skills, whereby you are able to not only deliver ambitious targets, but also willing and able to do the general admin required, including managing CRM, absence and performance
    • Inspirational leadership with the ability to motivate and develop a skilled workforce
    • Well developed commercial and business acumen, with strong financial management skills
    • Project Management skills, including the ability to implement, monitor and review multiple projects at once
    • Ability to function and "tailor" sales approach to the multi layered NHS
    • Excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills
    • Comprehensive understanding of the Clinisupplies product portfolio and the markets we play in
    • In depth knowledge of NHSSC and other routes to market
    • Strong understanding of the NHS landscape policy and how it affects local delivery of healthcare
    • Demonstrable record of delivering/exceeding team sales targets

    Desirable:

    • Previous experience of effectively managing a field sales team within the healthcare industry
    • Urology & Continence market and competition knowledge
