You will be a vital member of the information security team, responsible for managing and safeguarding cryptographic keys within the organisation. Your role will involve the implementation, maintenance and control of key management systems and procedures to ensure the integrity and security of data across various platforms.

  • Key Lifecycle Management: Support the entire lifecycle of cryptographic keys, from generation, distribution, rotation, storage, to the retirement and destruction of keys in accordance with organisational policies and standards.
  • Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with key management policies and practices, including adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, GDPR, and HIPAA.
  • Security Audits and Compliance: Participate in regular security audits to verify the effectiveness of key management practices and make recommendations for improvements. Assist with compliance efforts related to key management.
  • Incident Response: Respond to security incidents involving cryptographic keys, including potential breaches or misuse, and participate in the investigation and remediation process.
  • Access Control: Manage access to key management systems and cryptographic keys, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access based on their role and responsibilities.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for key management procedures, including key generation, distribution logs, and access controls.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Technology and the wider information security team to integrate key management practices into the organisation's overall security strategy.
