The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be to handle low to medium value claims across our First Party Lines of business (Construction, Property, Marine, Bespoke along with some Aviation run off) which includes UK, European and International business.
There will also be an opportunity to work with and be mentored by our senior members of the team through learning and development opportunities and where possible providing support on some large / complex losses within in the First Party book.
Key Responsibilities:
of the Allied World Real Estate/Property owners portfolio exploring opportunities with our existing partners and establishing new relationshipsextensive account analysis according to underwriting guidelines to include thorough review of underwriting application/submission, consideration of risk management protocols, research via on-line services and other available resources and liaising with other Company departments to establish full understanding of risk exposures and completion of underwriting (pricing) worksheets.referrals (as required) with the relevant AW contactfor timely and correct issuance of bound polices.closely with the wider Commercial Division and contribute to the formation of overall strategy / business plans and the execution actuarial support to develop premium benchmarking and pricing models, with development of account quotes, binders and invoices in accordance with company guidelines.receipt of and review of outstanding information to ensure consistency with the terms and conditions agreed at the maintenance of underwriting files in an orderly manner and in accordance with the underwriting work to Underwriters as deemed appropriate and responsible for the professional development and training of assigned team members or direct reports if and where applicable.— attend client/broker meetings, lunches, dinners and other social outings as applicable.
Meet with key brokers regularly to discuss production, service and other topics relative to division operationindustry conferences and seminars as appropriate.
