    Our client, a major player in the supply of fresh food products into the UK and European markets is looking to recruit an Electrical biased Multi-Skilled Engineer within their Stirling/Falkirk manufacturing site.

    The site operates 24/7 with the Engineering department working only on days shift, Monday to Friday.

    The Role This role requires applicants who are able to work within a trained team of electrical and mechanical engineers/fitters based on site.

    The role will involve the reactive and proactive electrical maintenance work on site. Assisting the Engineering Manager with monitoring performance as well as efficiency and yield. Managing your own workloads and equipment to allow the company to function effectively.

    This role requires the applicant to work within a team, providing electrical fault-finding and maintenance to a fast-moving production environment.

    Working within the workshop to ensure that all health and safety requirements are adhered to and that best practices are shown.

    This is a hands-on Engineering role and requires applicants who are going to be involved in the maintenance of the production equipment.

    The Person The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong electrical service/repair engineering with a strong hands-on working knowledge of motors, drives, plc, scada, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, alternators, and controls (the role will require some mechanical exposure but not a formal qualification).

    Applicants working within a food production, drinks production, FMCG manufacturing or production presently would be best suited to this role as would applicants looking to return to this market.

    Applicants should be in a similar level of role, able to service and maintain a range of production equipment. A steady career history will aid to the credibility of the successful applicant's application. You will receive a package based on a £38-42k basic salary, Pension and 25 days holiday.
