- Knowledge of the overall regulatory landscape in the UK and a good understanding of the upcoming regulatory reform in the UK under the Edinburgh Reforms.
- A broad understanding of some of the major international regulatory initiatives impacting the financial sector including PSD2 & Open Banking, MIFID II, EMIR, MAR, DORA and MiCAR.
- Knowledge of the UK regulatory perimeter, including issues relating to, the RAO, EMRs and PSRs.
- Knowledge or experience providing regulatory transaction support to both M&A and corporate reorganisation.
- Knowledge or experience of supporting firms with FCA/PRA licensing processes including authorisations, variation of permission, notifications and de-authorisation process.
