API Foilmakers Limited, a member of the Aldus group of companies, are manufacturers of hot and cold stamping foils, supplying the carton industry.

We have a heritage dating back to 1783, starting out as a supplier of gold leaf to customers such as His Majesty King George VI.

More recently we are a manufacturer and distributor of stamping foils supplying the biggest premium packaging manufacturers in the world today such as whiskey distilleries and luxury perfumery and toiletries.

Our range of products have two main purposes.

Firstly, our range of hot and cold metallic stamping foils are used to create a premium look and shelf appeal to labels and cartons.

It is a fact that general consumers buy with their eyes and the metallic effects that can be created with our stamping foils helps make packaging more attractive to consumers.

This look can also give a uniqueness to any brand and create an authentic and difficult to copy carton or label.

Secondly, we produce a range of specialist hot stamping foils for functional purposes such as medical devices, cabling and date coding on food products.

Job description
We are currently recruiting for Coating & Finishing Machine Operatives.

Working as part of the Coating and Finishing team, you will be trained to set up and operating our console and coating machines, working in a fast-paced environment you will be a key contributor to the production of high-quality jumbo roles of foil.

You will have a great eye for detail, be quality focused and extremely safety conscious.

You will be required to work a three shift rotation - back / early / nightshift - 2pm - 10pm, 6am - 2pm and 10pm to 6am, Monday to Friday.

Salary:
£24,794.26-£29,123.29 per year
