Description

A leading multi model logistics business is looking for a Traffic Operator to join their Bristol office. As an experienced Transport Planner you will assist in planning routes; managing drivers and ensuring the fleet are maintained.

As a Transport Planner you will assist with the day to day running of vehicles to ensure prompt and on time deliveries to customers.

You will be required to update transport systems to track vehicle, trailer and job status to meet delivery timings.

You willensure vehicles and trailers are serviced and MOT'd before being used and assist drivers in managing their hours and break requirements to be compliant at all times.

You will also be required to assist drivers and customers with queries and any issues thatarise during a route.
The role will be based in their Bristol depot and the working hours will be Monday

Friday on a day shift.

The working hours are 45 hours a week usually 9-10 shifts with start times between 7am-9am. Additionally there is a requirement of 1 in 4 Saturday (usuallya 6 hour shift).

Some flexibility will be required due to the nature of the role in logistics and start and finish times may adjust slightly.

On offer is a salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience as well as a number of company benefits.
