    :

    The Tax Team at TikTok helps ensure that our company and all our products are tax-compliant throughout different regions and countries.

    Also, the Tax Team provides support to internal requests and works with multiple different stakeholders to support product and business launches and new features.


    Position Summary:


    TikTok is seeking an enthusiastic Corporate Tax Analyst to join the Tax team to support its rapid business growth in Europe.

    The ideal candidate has corporate tax experience in Europe, as well as an interest in getting involved in withholding tax (WHT) and digital service tax (DST).

    They will work closely with colleagues in multiple departments (. Accounting, Legal, Transfer Pricing, Treasury, HR) to add valuable input in multiple jurisdictions in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the TMT sector is a plus, as is a background in both compliance and advisory work.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Corporate Tax Compliance: Assist with corporate tax compliance across Europe, collaborating with the Assistant Tax Manager and external advisors in preparing returns
    • Annual Tax Provisioning:
    Assist with collecting information for annual tax provisioning

    • Timely Tax Payments:
    Ensure timely requests for tax payments

    • Ad-Hoc Support:
    Provide ad-hoc support in preparing returns/submissions to meet business obligations across Europe (., WHT, DST, CbCR notifications, CORs).- Tax Compliance Controls and Processes: Assist with improving end-to-end tax compliance controls and processes in the Tax team

    • Legislation Monitoring:
    Monitor changes and updates of tax legislation.
    Research the potential impact on business operations from major developments (., Pillar 2).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge and Principles: Familiarity with accounting and/or tax principles
    • Professional Qualifications:
    Hold professional accountancy and/or tax exams such as AAT or ATT

    • Tax Experience:
    Experience in corporate tax in the UK and/or EU

    • Industry Knowledge:
    Familiarity with the TMT industry and related tax issues

    • Language Proficiency:
    Proficiency in other European languages.
