£11.95 per hour.

About the Barista
role:


An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a
Barista within a new and vibrant coffee bar at the Darwin Court Healthy Living Centre where you will deliver the day to day operation of the coffee bar.

This is a zero hours contract where you are paid for hours worked. The contract offers flexibility with periods of non-working. There will be a combination of compulsory and flexible hours that you will be required to work. You will be required to cover for employee sickness absence, annual leave and any other absences.

Please note that you must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week (Weds-Sat) with possible overtime.

What we're looking for in our Barista:

  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • able to develop good work relationships, enjoy meeting and working with people at all levels and from diverse walks of life
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • The ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure while remaining welcoming and friendly to customers
  • Proactive
  • Experience in working in a fast paced, customer focused environment
  • Basic food hygiene certificate

Responsibilities as our Barista:


  • Making a range of coffee bar drinks
  • Food preparation
  • Restocking and delivery of goods
  • Ensuring its smooth running and providing excellent delivery of this service to all customers whilst creating a strong community feel
  • This role will require an Enhanced DBS check._
