Our client is a Cambridge based technology start up, focused on Healthcare solutions at an exciting point in their growth plans.


The team are looking for an experienced Finance Director who can work on a flexible, part time basis, helping to build financial models to underpin funding, to optimise corporate structure, tax strategy, secure financing and then monitor operational performance and delivery to budgets and milestones.

The FD will be expected to contribute significantly to strategy and all commercial aspects of the business.


Key skills:

  • Fully qualified accountant familiar with working flexibly and independently
  • Experience of fundraising and working in an early stage fast growth business
  • Working at senior level as well as very hands on
  • Experience of building a finance function and systems from scratch
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Familiar liaising with investors, advisers and other third parties


The business is based in Cambridge but this role has the benefit of being a mix of remote but with regular office meetings.
