    Description

    Our client has over 30 years' history in the Nutraceutical and Pharmaceutical industry and has played a key role in driving innovation and increasing awareness.

    They sell products in over 45 countries and have ambitious plans to continue their international expansion delivering strong and consistent double-digit growth.

    We are looking a CSO to join the team as a visionary leader to set the group's strategic direction and oversee the design and delivery of research programs while providing leadership to the R+D team.

    R&D's primary role is to provide a steady pipeline of new, and/or improved products which have-the potential to significantly grow the business.

    In addition, the CSO will give scientific guidance and input wherever required; this may include dealings with regulatory authorities, competitor challenges, legal cases, and issues that arise where a robust and measured scientific approach is required.

    Desired Skills & ExperienceA degree or (preferably)

    PhD in a scientific disciplineAt least 10 years industry experience in similar senior roles (from any industry)Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management and IT skillsExcellent time management skillsThis person will be:
