- Guide and mentor junior members of the team and help them level-up their skills
- Ensure the teams' priorities are strategically aligned to the corporate plan objectives and product roadmaps.
- You'll collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Be involved in user research and analysis to gain insights into user behaviours, preferences, and pain points.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualise design concepts and interactions.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, usability testing, and data-driven insights.
- Ensure consistency and coherence across all digital touchpoints, adhering to brand guidelines and design standards.
- Design expert: From wireframes to prototypes, you know your way around crafting solutions and bringing ideas to life.
- User Advocate: You're all about understanding their quirks, needs, and what makes them tick.
- Team Player: Collaboration is key. You'll be tag-teaming with researchers, developers, and others, so being a good communicator is a must.

You'll be the driving force behind our digital experience, mapping journeys and creating designs that enhance our members' lives, making their experiences smoother and more enjoyable.
Collaborating with various teams, you'll delve into user needs and bring them to life in your designs.
As a Senior within the team, you'll have passion for UX and be responsible for evolving the maturity of the team processes, tools and techniques; coaching and guiding junior team members in their approach to ensure high quality outcomes.
Your role will be crucial in helping to deliver cutting edge digital products to our members', evolving our online presence and ensuring users are able to meet their goals quickly and efficiently.

We're looking for an experienced UX Designer at Skipton Building Society, who can bring innovation, passion, and energy to the team to design and deliver seamless digital experiences for our members.

This role is within the User Experience function in our Digital team. The growing team consists of User Researchers, UX Designers, Service Design, Customer Empathy & Journey Design Specialists.
