We have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Service Engineer who can maintain, repair and service a range of PLC controlled equipment.

The ability to conduct root cause analysis and fault find on a range of malfunctioning PLC's would be advantageous.

You will need to be flexible when it comes to travel, within the UK and abroad, as they have several international clients where you might be required to leave on short notice.

It's not uncommon for them to take a call from a client and have you on a flightthe next day.

In return for this flexibility you will receive a good hourly rate (with significant opportunities for overtime at an enhanced rate), company car and paid travel expenses.

Varied and challenging, this Electrical Engineer role will give you the chance to work on multi-sector projects from concept to completion.

Electrical Engineer - Role and Responsibilities - PLC / Programmable Logic Controller / Maintenance / Design / Commissioning / Machinery

Assist with the onsite maintenance and repair of PLC controlled machinery
Working alongside a team of Mechanical Engineers, you will carry out projects independently and assist with onsite installations and commissioning.
In office you will draw up project plans and circuit diagrams, using computerassisted engineering and design software
Providing design, installation, commissioning and maintenance support for PLC controlled machinery over the phone
Testing of installations and systems to ensure projects meet safety regulations

Electrical Engineer - Skills and Abilities - PLC / Programmable Logic Controller / Maintenance / Design / Commissioning / Machinery

Proficient in maintenance, repair, design, installation and commissioning of PLC controlled machinery
Previous work experience in automated environments advantageous but not necessary
An Electrical Engineering qualification of benefit but not required
Skills in servo drives and panel wiring beneficial
