    • Location: *Burston, Diss
    • Salary:* SCP4 £23,114 – SCP6 £23,893 per annum (Pro rata £17,443 - £18,293 per annum)

    *The Role*

    Burston Primary School is looking to appoint 2 reliable, nurturing and caring Teaching Assistants. The Teaching Assistants will work as part of the school team, supporting pupils across their learning, including during lunchtimes.

    Their vision is to encourage and support the pupils to enjoy their childhoods and reach their full potential, as confident, inquisitive and successful learners and as fully rounded individuals. The small, caring communities and their inspiring environment, within the South Norfolk countryside, make a huge impact on the children's development and are essential values.
    • Skills & Experience*
    • Have GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Mathematics.
    • Have previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment and have Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification.
    • Be committed to the school's high standards of teaching, learning and professional development.
    • Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring personality, and a good sense of humour.
    • Understand the importance of an inclusive environment and high expectations on pupil behaviour.
    • Have a welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism.
    • Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils in adherence with the school procedures while in play areas, the dining hall, classrooms or anywhere on the school site.
