We are currently recruiting for a Senior Category Manager to join our client, who specialise in providing first class procurement services for the NHS.

The Category Manager will be responsible for the delivery of strategic procurement initiatives in compliancewith EU procurement legislation.

  • Deliver a Category Management service for identified categories: estates/construction procurement as well as IT
  • Deliver demonstrable cash releasing savings annually as part of the Services' cost improvement programmes and meet key performance and efficiency targets, reporting to the Head of Procurement
  • Category and Contracts
  • Design and Implementation of Procurement Contracts
  • Liaison with Government Agencies and in addition SCCL and London Procurement Partnership (LPP).
  • The procurements will be a mix of FTS tenders (very few), nonFTS tenders, minicompetitions against framework and direct awards against framework

Essential Experience:

  • Familiar with public procurement regulations and very competent at contract formation
