    Description
    We are hiring on behalf of a world-famous scientific organisation who are expanding their team.

    They require an Interim Finance Business Partner (Research) at short notice, ideally someone who would be interested in permanent opportunities over the coming months.

    The overall purpose of the role is to provide support to departments with grant-funded projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant who understands restricted and unrestricted funds.


    Day to day duties:
    Work with stakeholders to ensure grant applications are correctly costedReport accrual expenditure vs budget for grantsReport to external fundersRegularly reforecast grant expenditure for the lifetime of the grantProduce monthly management accountsPrepare annual budgets including department costsEssential criteria:Qualified accountantUnderstanding restricted and unrestricted fundsProven ability to liaise effectively with staff at all management and directorate levelsStrong IT skills including excellent ExcelDesirable criteria:Understand what research grants arePre and post award experiencePlease apply ASAP to ensure you are considered for this exciting role
