Job Title:
English Teacher (SEMH School)


Location:
Rossendale, Lancashire


Salary:
£140 - £200 per day

Start ASAP - July 2023


Responsibilities:


  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective English lessons to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Assessing, marking and providing feedback on pupils' work
  • Monitoring and evaluating pupils' progress
  • Working closely with other teachers and support staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for pupils

Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching English in a SEMH setting
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
