Contracts Manager

Edinburgh (hybrid working available)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Edinburgh based client.

Working for a not for profit organisation that specialises in research within the pharmaceutical and health sector, you'll oversee contract negotiationsand manage contracts for the organisation.

This team plays a business critical role and you'll be heavily involved in managing stakeholders to ensure that a high level of service is delivered at all times and that Legal policies are effectively implemented.

A typical day will involve:

Review, draft and negotiate contracts on behalf of the organisation
Act as the main point of contact for any contract negotiations involving the business
Monitor contract extensions and renewals to ensure contractual obligations are delivered and the business remains compliant with all ongoing contracts
Contract external Legal Counsel when required
Report directly to the board on any issues arising from contracts
Ensure intellectual assets are managed appropriately and respond to any IP queries

This role would be ideal for someone with experience working in a Contract role in the pharmaceutical, research & development or healthcare industries who is looking to take on a new challenging role.
