Contracts Manager
Edinburgh (hybrid working available)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Edinburgh based client.
Working for a not for profit organisation that specialises in research within the pharmaceutical and health sector, you'll oversee contract negotiationsand manage contracts for the organisation.
This team plays a business critical role and you'll be heavily involved in managing stakeholders to ensure that a high level of service is delivered at all times and that Legal policies are effectively implemented.
A typical day will involve:
- Review, draft and negotiate contracts on behalf of the organisation
- Act as the main point of contact for any contract negotiations involving the business
- Monitor contract extensions and renewals to ensure contractual obligations are delivered and the business remains compliant with all ongoing contracts
- Contract external Legal Counsel when required
- Report directly to the board on any issues arising from contracts
- Ensure intellectual assets are managed appropriately and respond to any IP queries
This role would be ideal for someone with experience working in a Contract role in the pharmaceutical, research & development or healthcare industries who is looking to take on a new challenging role.
