Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from Plant Operators and Site Operatives interested in working for our client in the Lincoln area who specialise in the manufacture and export of chemicals used in the agricultural industry.

Duties

  • Working hours Monday to Friday but other patterns may be in operation between 06:0018:00 Monday to Friday.
  • Additional hours worked are paid at overtime.
  • Use of mechanical plant equipment including
  • Rough Terrain Telehandler
  • Industrial Telehandler
  • Counterbalance FLT
  • Shunter
  • Follow systems and procedures to ensure safe operation of plant equipment.
  • Moving, loading, washing out road tankers of fertiliser products.
  • Loading curtain side trailers with IBCs.
  • Performing pre use checks and routine inspections
  • Following safety instructions
  • Occasional entry to confined spaces for cleaning purposes
  • General housekeeping and washing production plant and equipment
  • Assisting in other areas onsite as and when necessary
  • Reporting equipment breakdowns
  • Inventory checking and material improvements around the site

Applicant Profile

  • Plant Operator experience ideally on the above machinery.
  • Ideally hold indate operator licences.
