We are looking for a Year 1teacher in Flitwick from September 2024 This is an opportunity towork within a Good primary school in Flitwick Bedfordshire. Theschool is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoyteaching an academic yet creative topicbased curriculum in a schoolwith exceptional pastoralcare.

Responsibilities of a Year 1teacher:

Plan and deliverengaging and effective classes to Year 1 students based on theNational Curriculum.

Provide ongoing feedbackand support to Year 1 students to encourage growth anddevelopment.

Create a safe and organizedclassroom environment conducive to learning.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share bestpractices.

Use data to inform teaching decisionsand adapt instruction to meet the needs of alllearners.

Communicate regularly with parents andcaregivers to provide updates on Year 1 studentprogress.

Attend and contribute to staffmeetings and professional developmentopportunities.
