Job Specification:
Logistics Administrator
Key Responsibilities:
Transportation Management:
- Arrange and track shipments, including negotiating rates with carriers.
- Coordinate and schedule deliveries and pickups.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare shipping documents, such as Commercial Invoices and customs forms.
- Generating and maintaining reports on all shipments, including but not limited to, Purchase Orders, Tracking Consignments, Chasing POD's and updating the internal CRM.
Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve logisticsrelated issues promptly through our couriers.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Pass in English and Mathematics a minimum requirement.
- Previous experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problemsolving aptitude with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£19,500.00-£22,500.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
