You will provide administrative and business process support in the Projects and Programme Delivery team. This will support project teams to deliver capital engineering construction projects across Wales.

Tasks will include financial administration (use of MyNRW / Agresso software, raising purchase orders, processing invoices) and document production and management (project manager support, meeting minutes, use of DMS and Asite).


Your responsibilities will include to:

  • Process requisitions, contracts, contract extensions and process all payments. Liaise with project managers to ensure accuracy and propriety.
  • Provide support and quality control on Asite and PPMT issues.
  • Collate and maintain all commercial and supplier data (KPIs etc) to improve understanding within the business, under the technical direction of the National Programme Analyst (NPA).
  • Collate the monthly financial and progress reporting under the supervision of the NPA. Ensure all reporting deadlines are met and the information that reports contain is accurate and relevant.
  • Be responsible for the maintenance of contractual, commercially sensitive and potentially legally binding correspondence in all formats in relation to our project programme, being captured accurately and timely in the corporate DMS in such a way as to facilitate speedy retrieval in a format suitable for responding to business transactions.
  • Manage the delivery of all administration details for the whole Team. Which includes internal and external visits, organisation of team events, booking of appropriate venues, travel and accommodation and preparation of associated paperwork as appropriate.
  • Undertake secretarial duties for Team meetings.
  • Assist Project Mangers in producing materials for public consultations, giving administration support at public events as well as giving communications support and maintaining web pages for Flood Risk Management Projects.
  • Undertake internal communications with key internal stakeholders such as Communications, Estates, and Procurement to enable forward business planning in support of the National Programme Delivery Team.
  • Provide essential support to project managers on their projects as according to business and project needs.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in an Administration type role.
  • The ability to work unsupervised.
  • Selfmotivation and intuition.
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally and with external stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to analyse and interpret information is essential.
  • Ability to use data, information and knowledge confidently and present data using Microsoft systems.
