£18,000 - £25,000 per annum + benefits (Permanent):

Surrey:

Long established and highly reputable multi disciplinary consultancy based in Surrey is looking for a hungry and ambitious Graduate Building Surveyor to join their team.

Our Client:
Multi disciplinary practice who take pride in their industry expertise and excellent client care.

Typical Projects:
Public Sector, Commercial, Residential, Education and Heritage.

Company Headcount:

Role of the Graduate Building Surveyor:

Manage minor projects under supervision of Building Surveyor or senior member of staff
Undertake measured surveys and plot existing and proposed plans
Prepare tender documents, working drawings, specifications, H&S risk assessments and schedules of work under supervision
Evaluate tenders and assist in production of tender reports
Coordinate design information with other consultants and other members of staff
Assist Building Surveyors and senior members of staff with contract management of projects and on site
Attend site and client meetings and produce minutes

Requirements of the Graduate Building Surveyor:

A degree in Building Surveying from a university recognised by the RICS
Recent postgraduate experience in a similar role (circa 018 months' experience)
Recent experience of managing small projects (preferred)
Display knowledge and appreciation of building construction and be able to draw detailed clear and tidy hand sketches for the purposes of identifying current and proposed construction.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks
