    Description

    Role

    As part of the Data Analytics & Bu siness Intelligence team, the Data Analyst is responsible for providing accurate data and interpretation of data products and business reports on various areas of operations for Kaplan Business School and Pathways.

    In addition, Data Analyst will be supporting the formulation and provision of ad-hoc data products to a variety of stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver periodic maintenance & refresh of internal and external reports & data products
    • Engage with key internal customers to enhance existing business reports and to develop new data products to support business intelligence needs
    • Be critical and proactively advise internal customers for considerable patterns/trends in business measures
    • Support and provide feedback to various business functions relating to the continuous improvement of data integrity and reporting visibility
    • Formulate and deliver a resolution of ad hoc queries and requests for business data & information
    • Manipulate and present data effectively to a variety of stakeholders as per purposes of brief
    • Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including WHS legislation requirements
    • Ensure as far as is practicable that the workplace, under your control, is safe and without risks to health

    Requirements

    • 2-3 years' experience working in a role of commercial/business/sales analysis, business partnering, or performance/operational reporting (essential)
    • Strong sense of customer service and business partnering
    • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
    • Experience in formulating and presenting conclusions & recommendations upon analysis of problems, evidence, and data
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent attention to detail
    • Previous experience working in the International Education sector, with an understanding of the ESOS Act,
      and the National Code of Ethics (desirable)
    • Working experience sourcing data and building report/dashboard on visualisation platforms, such as Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or KNIME
    • Understand and ability to present data in a format that is fit-for-purposes
    • Experience working with data transformation in Power Query and SQL (desirable)
